When your father works for Hitachi, you have access to all the latest electronics. And if you also happen to have been born with an insatiable curiosity and a passion for detail, you spend a lot of time in your room because you’re grounded for taking apart said electronics.

Once she’d figured out how to reassemble everything Hitachi made, Carrie started tinkering with the Internet – building her first website at the age of 12, using AOL with a dial-up connection. She graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta with honors for the best student portfolio of her class and a degree in Interactive Media Design.

Carrie has nearly two decades of experience in front- and back-end web development, including everything from managing content for a 5,000-page corporate Goliath to creating dynamic websites, email blasts, flash animations, and interactive media.

Although her advanced programming background comes in handy when troubleshooting and addressing technical requirements for clients, vendors, and staff, Carrie spends most of her time managing the day-to-day flow of vh.AGENCY’s projects and applications – from sales, to planning, to deployment.

Prior to joining vh.AGENCY, Carrie was the Director of Interactive Services at Otto Design & Marketing for six years, where she worked with clients that included AFLAC, Eastern Virginia Medical School, Kaufman & Canoles, Kingston Plantation, Hope House Foundation, and Tempus Jets. She has also worked as a Content Developer for InterContinental Hotels Group in Atlanta, GA.
